Researched and Developed a web application for streetlighting based on IoT sensors and the LoRaWAN communication protocol. The sensors allow remote control and management of luminaires and central electrical panels (pillars). That is, the application sends commands that define the operation of the luminaire (on / off / dimming 0-100), setting the operating schedule (at specific times or based on the sunrise/sunset algorithm), and receiving metrics related to the operation of the luminaires. The application was implemented in the PHP CodeIgniter framework for the back end and AngularJS for the front end, while the Database was based on MySQL. A middleware “written” in Python with MongoDB was placed between the communication of the web server and the IoT devices.
